About Nicci
Hello, I’m Nicci Little, a freelance copyeditor and proofreader specialising in medical editing. With almost a decade of in-house MedComms agency experience, I have the knowledge, skills and understanding to bring clarity and consistency to any non-fiction text in need of some eagle-eyed TLC. My on-the-job experience is backed up with professional training, alongside a First Class BA (Hons) in English Literature. My agency background has made me an organised and proactive multitasker, used to working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
I'm experienced in the copyediting and proofreading of a range of project types (eg, scientific manuscripts, slide sets, posters, plain language summaries, infographics) across an array of therapy areas (eg, oncology, gastroenterology, diabetes). I have experience of globalising documents (UK to US, and vice versa), and I recently upskilled to include fact checking as part of my offering. Since launching Little Editorial Services, I have completed paid work for several medical communications agencies.
