As the Chartered professional body for the editorial profession, we offer a wide range of training in copyediting, proofreading, and specialist editorial skills. Most of our training can be completed via e-learning, meaning you can learn at your own pace, in your own time, and in the comfort of your own home. But we can also come to you to deliver dedicated in-house training for your team to meet your specific learning requirements.

CIEP delivered bespoke online training for our Marketing and Communications teams. We were really impressed with how much the trainer had researched the University, our work and our style guide before the sessions, and how much the content was tailored to our specific requirements. The balance of presenting and working on group tasks worked well, and we all came away with lots of practical tips to improve our editing and proof reading. The cost for group sessions was also very reasonable, and the communication was friendly and efficient in preparation for the training.
