With 15 years of editorial experience, I work with publishers and authors to shed light on great ideas and educate a variety of audiences.
Whether you’re looking for a detailed proofread, a comprehensive developmental edit, or bigger picture project management, I offer a high level of skill, trust, and friendliness in my approach.
Having worked for trade non-fiction, education, and academic publishers alike, my experience spans commissioning, editing, proofreading, marketing, and project management. In-house, I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of subjects, from arts, business, and humanities journals and educational resources to illustrated volumes on CG art and heritage crafts.
I enjoy diving into topics I may initially know nothing about and developing content that teaches the novice reader in a coherent and engaging manner. Every word should illuminate the subject in question, while design and artwork should clarify and enhance the reader’s engagement and understanding.
I know what works well, and this knowledge and passion is what I bring to the non-fiction and educational materials to which I contribute.
