Experience
As a freelance proofreader and copy-editor since 2004, I've worked on a wide variety of topics for a wide variety of clients, including mainstream publishers, individual authors, students and design companies. Recent projects have included books on trekking in Tajikistan, biking in the Black Forest and diagnosing and treating complex trauma, plus a thesis on resilience, techno-stress and e-mail overload, and a rap poetry book.
I'm available all year round and can work to tight deadlines.

Testimonials
I found Liz through the internet and asked for help proofreading my new ebook. As all novice writers I felt the need to wrap my first book in cotton wool and guard it with my life. Liz took it into her professional and capable hands and did a fantastic job in the time scale given, and at a very reasonable cost. She is reliable and trustworthy and I can’t recommend her service highly enough. Susan E Willis, contemporary fiction novelist
Liz has edited academic papers for us on a number of occasions. Her editing is always professional and thorough and I can always be confident that she will deliver quality work on time. Communicating with Liz is also easy, whether by e-mail or skype, and her direct and immediate feedback really helps keep projects moving. Michael Haagensen, Papers Edited
All of the edits and proof reading you’ve done for me have been super… I know this was a large job with a quick turnaround and over New Year so your time on this has been very much appreciated…. Once again, I really do appreciate the time you have spent going through this. C. Clarke, Master's student, Coventry University
I have just finished my read through and I love it. I agreed with the notes and made the changes needed. Thank you once again for a great job. Kat Green, self-publishing contemporary novelist
I'm part way through your corrections and I just wanted to say that you've done a fantastic job. I just put in the updates - so it's great that you've picked up so many things. Lucy Rogers, Cicerone Press
