Whatever size or type your document may be, I work with you to ensure that it is the best it can be – checking for spelling, punctuation, grammar, layout and any other inconsistencies. I work on academic journal articles, marketing and promotional materials, theses, dissertations, web content and any other publications (printed or online) covering a wide range of subject areas.

I work with both individuals and companies and my marketing background in both the public and private sectors (over 25 years) has given me a wide breadth of experience of working on many types of documents.

I do a lot of copyediting and proofreading for authors for whom English is not their first language, and I also work with translation agencies to ensure translated works are in clear and correct English.

I also work with students with dyslexia, proofreading assignments from essays to dissertations.

I am an active member of the Edinburgh CIEP local group and a member of the Edinburgh Editors Network.
