About Jenny Gibson

I proofread, edit and write for marketing teams, design agencies, businesses and schools.

The year 2024 is my 10th as a freelance proofreader, copyeditor and copywriter. Before going self-employed, I held various senior marketing roles over a 15-year period, working in retail and manufacturing organisations and in a marketing agency.

I'm positive, friendly and flexible. Having worked in marketing, I understand my clients' time pressures and always do whatever I can to accommodate a deadline shift.

Volunteering

I am lucky to volunteer as a fosterer for Guide Dogs by providing a loving home for a dog in training. 

Through volunteering for this amazing charity, I have developed a growing interest in dog welfare, training and behaviour – and would welcome the opportunity to work on content in this field.
