About Fiona

Featured

Experienced copy editor and project manager, freelance since 2004. Specialist areas are Linguistics and Psychology but I have edited everything from East and Inner Asian Buddhism to Geri Halliwell's autobiography! Particular strengths are editing non-native English speaker texts and coming up with creative solutions to client problems or impasses. I have never delivered a job late in 15 years and I am always happy to consider flexible schedules to suit the client.

Fiona has worked on book projects with and for me for the last 20 years or so, as both a project editor and a copy editor. She has always worked to the highest standard, with full understanding of the publishing process and of the need to establish a good and professional relationship with authors. She is hardworking, punctual, flexible when necessary, well informed, utterly competent and wholly reliable. I have the highest opinion of her work and abilities.
