About Clare

I've specialised in copy-editing and proofreading educational content since 2008.

I project manage, develop and proofread professional examinations and apprenticeship end-point assessments at awarding bodies. 

As a freelancer, I've worked with an exam board on GCSE and A level exam papers and with leading educational publishers on courses and revision materials.

I proofread the Editing Textbooks guide published by the CIEP.

Subjects: I’ve knowledge of accountancy/accounting and law through my qualifications work. My degree is in Spanish and I used to live in Spain. I’ve an interest in spirituality.

Technical knowledge: Adobe Acrobat, Surpass, Word and XML.

Recent CPD: Editing Digital Content (CIEP) and Essential Editorial Project Management (Publishing Training Centre) courses.
