Copyeditor and proofreader specialising in business, arts, humanities and social sciences. I train others in copyediting through Publishing Scotland. After completing my PhD in English Literature I worked in marketing and corporate communications. This background gives me an understanding of a wide range of subjects and the ability to edit sensitively and effectively. I have edited around 100 non-fiction books and a large number of articles, plus handbooks, blogs, websites and other business literature. Recently I've published a CIEP guide, Editing for Communications Professionals.
