I specialise in the areas of non-fiction history and literature, both academic and trade, and am comfortable working with the major referencing styles in arts and humanities (e.g. MHRA, Chicago) as well as customised styles for individual books, journals and theses or publishers' own house styles. I also work on the slightly unusual combinaton of historical fiction and cricket; as a published novelist and former cricket writer myself I find that my experience makes me a better editor.

Many thanks for your comments on the book. I’ve had a chance to read through them and I’m really pleased with how thorough they are. It’s good to have had a fresh pair of objective eyes evaluating the text in detail. You’ve picked up on numerous issues I’d overlooked and some I was aware of but hadn’t properly addressed. I found your notes constructive and I appreciated your positive observations on various aspects of the writing and characters.

Your notes and comments are SO useful – I’m wondering why it’s taken me so long to go through this process! You have picked up things which I really should have noticed before.
