Webinar: Policy Foundations for Editorial Professionals

This webinar, delivered by Louise Harnby on 19 February from 2pm GMT, will explore how freelance editors and proofreaders can professionalise their practice by creating and publishing custom policies and notices that will help them to increase efficiency and build trust with their clients.

By the end of the session, you’ll understand:

  • which policies are business-critical
  • how they help to increase transparency and trust and build your clients’ confidence
  • how to make your policies and notices visible
  • why they save you time
  • how to make sure they’re a great match for your business
  • why investing time in creating this information reaches beyond policy-making
  • how to use the starter pack that you’ll receive after the session to help you fill your policy gaps and develop a business-first mindset.

This one-hour webinar is suitable for freelance editors and proofreaders of any editorial skill level who want guidance on how to create effective policies and notices.

The webinar will be recorded and the recording will be available on the On demand page of the CIEP website. Bookings will close at 1pm GMT on 19 February.
