Webinar: Making Tax Digital

Making Tax Digital – what does it mean for you and your business? What do you need to do to stay compliant? And how can you make the transition smooth (and stress-free)?

This webinar aims to clarify what Making Tax Digital involves in practice, highlighting its record-keeping and reporting obligations, and to encourage early preparation to avoid disruption and ensure compliance with HMRC's new digital tax regime.

By joining the session, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax, including who it applies to, what it requires, how and when to report, the impact on year-end declarations, and the unchanged tax payment deadlines. You'll leave equipped to comply confidently with the digital record-keeping and quarterly submission requirements mandated by HMRC.

During the session, we'll cover:

  • an introduction to Making Tax Digital
  • legal and eligibility requirements
  • new reporting requirements
  • digital record-keeping requirements
  • implementation strategy
  • emerging technologies and pilot scheme
  • challenges and barriers to adoption
