Testimonials

As the person who heads up our publishing to support Pearson Edexcel's International GCSEs and International A Levels, I've commissioned Sarah to work on a number of projects at both levels over a number of years. As a freelance commissioning editor, Sarah is exactly what you want: she can write her own brief; she's a safe pair of hands in which to leave a project; she builds great relationships with authors and suppliers; she's able to deal with almost any issue or problem that will come up; she keeps things on track; and you can trust that when the project publishes, it'll meet the highest quality standards. Furthermore, she's just a really great person, and always a pleasure to work with. I'd have no hesitation in recommending her wholeheartedly.

Ben Greshon, Senior Publisher, Pearson Education

I have worked with Sarah for many years: first as colleagues at Pearson; then, in recent years, in a freelance capacity. Sarah has a deep understanding of the publishing process from commissioning through to production. Be it editing, author commissioning or project management, Sarah always handles her work competently and professionally. She listens well, asks all the right questions and can always be relied upon to make a sound judgement. An excellent communicator and team-player, Sarah works well with internal and external project stakeholders. I would definitely recommend Sarah's publishing services!

Sze Kiu Yeung, Freelance Publishing Professional

It’s so wonderful being able to work with you again, especially as I know I could trust you implicitly with the edit – and as always, you haven’t disappointed and you’ve delivered far more than asked for – so thank you so, so much!

The sponsor [...] was also really grateful for the extra work you put in to add glossary terms and definitions. They said, 'Please thank Sarah for her diligence and professionalism. She did a great job.'
