Experience and career highlights
Freelance since 1998.
Prior to becoming freelance, I was assistant editor at Diabetes UK, and editor at the Learning and Skills Network. At Diabetes UK, I edited an award-winning magazine for children with diabetes (Charity Publication of the Year Awards).
From 2014 to 2019, I trained over 50 authors and editors in central Asia, building editorial expertise in-country and supporting the publication of ministry-approved textbooks for primary and secondary learners. My role evolved to provide training and consultancy in all aspects of the publishing process.
