About Deborah

Are you seeking a reliable, friendly freelance proofreader and copy editor to enhance your written content? Look no further! Partnering with a professional like myself not only saves you valuable time but also costs less than you might expect.

WHY CHOOSE ME

* I'm experienced in Word, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat

* I work to the deadline with quality ensured

* Fluent in British and American English (Hart's Rules & CMOS)

* I have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational expertise, and a strong work ethic

WHAT YOU WILL GET

I'll begin by gathering your full requirements to ensure I deliver exactly what you need.

I will continue to communicate with you throughout our project and will deliver high-quality work on time, with full track changes and comments on reasons for suggested changes where needed. You are in control the whole time and do not have to accept all/any of my suggestions!

I always carefully read through text at least twice to ensure I capture as many issues as possible.

I will produce a style sheet, unique to your project, that details style decisions made (including grammar, spelling and punctuation). If you are a fiction writer, the style sheet will also include a descriptive list of characters, locations and the timeline of your book. This document will ensure consistency.

My rates reflect the effort I will put into your project and the high quality of work I will produce. It takes time to carefully check copy for errors, flow, consistency and style standards; this type of work shouldn't be rushed. Please, don't pay low rates for editing; it equates to throwing money away as your copy will still be full of errors.
