About Diane Davis
Diane is an experienced administrator and team leader with a proven ability to mentor, coach and empower others, and develop and implement effective new systems and procedures. She’s quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, and always keen to develop her skills and expertise.
She started her business life as an administrator for the police force, a role that lasted 16 years and during which she honed her management skills. Following a parental-leave break, Diane became a professional editor for a management consultancy company, editing reports for international clients in the oil, pharmaceutical and insurance sectors.
Twelve years later, she moved back into administration and management, first in the NHS, then in the education sector where she implemented new systems and processes, and developed more efficient working practices in relation to admissions, GDPR and data.
As the CIEP’s office manager, Diane is committed to building an efficient operational team that supports executive strategy and serves the Institute’s members, especially during a period of governance transformation.
She enjoys gardening, growing home-grown fruit and veg in her allotment, and cooking with the fresh eggs laid by her beloved brood of chickens. Diane dreams of being more self-sufficient and hopes that one day she’ll retire to a smallholding with her husband.
