About the   local group

The   local group is a coalition of diverse professionals who share a belief in editorial excellence and the importance of being in touch with like-minded people.

Our meetings are friendly and informal, and experienced editors and proofreaders, newbies to the profession and people interested in considering an editorial career are all welcome.

Originally formed in a Glasgow coffee bar in September 2003, the group meets monthly.
