CIEP Conference 2026: Terms and conditions of booking

Please make careful note of the following terms and conditions, particularly regarding refunds and cancellations (see below). By booking a place, either as an in-person or online delegate, you are agreeing to abide by our Membership Codes.  

Payment 

Payment will be taken when you purchase your ticket, and any extras, through the website. You can also request an invoice to pay for your ticket by contacting the office ([email protected]). Please note that if you are attending conference as an in-person delegate, payment for invoices must be made in full at least 20 working days before the event. If you are an online delegate, payment for invoices must be made in full at least ten working days in advance. 

Please note: The CIEP reserves the right to amend or postpone the conference in the event that there are insufficient attendees to make the conference viable. You should therefore make sure that any travel or accommodation bookings made for in-person attendance allows for the possibility of cancellation. The CIEP cannot take responsibility for any monies lost due to the cancellation of the conference.

VAT

All tickets and any extras are subject to VAT. Advertised prices will state whether VAT is included. 

Refunds and cancellation 

In-person delegates: a non-refundable deposit of £50 is included in the conference fee. If you choose to cancel your place before the in-person delegate booking window closes, you will receive a refund of the price of your place, minus the deposit. Any cancellations made after the in-person delegate booking window has closed will not be eligible for a refund, but we can transfer your booking to an online place instead.

Online delegates: a non-refundable deposit of £25 is included in the conference fee. If you choose to cancel your place before the online delegate booking window closes, you will receive a refund of the price of your place, minus the deposit. Any cancellations made after the online delegate booking window has closed will not be eligible for a refund.

Use of images

Please note that video and photography will take place throughout the conference. By accepting these terms and conditions you are providing your consent for your image to be used in future CIEP activity and promotion. If you would prefer for your image not to be used, please make yourself known to a member of the office team present at the conference.
