About Nishtha
I am an editor, writer, and researcher. I am an Economics and Philosophy graduate from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, India. Before training as an editor at the Seagull School of Publishing, Calcutta, I was a research scholar at the Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi. My academic interests include philosophy of language, development ethics, and the impact of technology upon human life. My professional experience spans the fields of art, architecture, broadcasting, ethics, and artificial intelligence. Currently, I work at a boutique editorial agency based in Bangalore, India, called The Clean Copy. We work with clients from all across the world, particularly from the humanities, social sciences, technology, policymaking, and energy fields.
If I am not at my desk cleaning up language, you can find me studying it—I speak English, Hindi, Bhojpuri, and some Korean, and am currently learning Italian and German. I enjoy reading dictionaries, calligraphy, and singing.
