Practical Mark-up of PDFs
Who is this course suitable for?
This course is suitable for anyone who has no or little experience of marking up PDFs and who lacks confidence in finding their way round a new program. The course is about the use of software rather than editing, so level of editorial skill or experience is not a factor.
This is a hands-on course with a high proportion of exercises to enable attendees to practise working on PDFs and to become familiar with the various features of Acrobat Reader DC. Attendees should bring their own laptops to work on.
The course begins with an overview of the available software, then looks at the range of tools available in Acrobat Reader DC with exercises using each one. Particular attention is paid to how to communicate changes when using commenting tools, and how to use shortcut keys and customise tool bars. The course contains many exercises so you will have a lot of practice using the various features; handy checklists will help you remember what to do once back in the office.

After completing this course, you should be able to:
- use the different commenting and mark-up features of Acrobat Reader DC
- work efficiently using shortcut keys
- customise toolbars
- export comments
- write clear, short instructions.
