About the   local group

The coordinator of the   local group is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Members of our friendly group come from all over Yorkshire, with a few living in York itself, and have a wide range of experience and interests. We generally meet at lunchtime at a café or pub and have an agreed topic, but before getting onto that there is time for chat over lunch or a drink. There is plenty of opportunity to speak to people and share experiences about training and work etc.

Our Christmas lunch is also popular, and the group occasionally organises other events: in the past we’ve had a summer picnic in the Museum Gardens, a visit to the Minster Library and a visit to Leeds Library, the oldest subscription library in the UK.

New members are always welcome! For further details or to attend a meeting, please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
