About the   local group

The Northern Ireland local group was set up in 2011; it was the first time that the SfEP (now CIEP) had had a presence in NI.

We meet three to four times a year over lunch in a Belfast city centre café. Our group is small – six to eight people on a good day – and meetings are very informal and intimate, usually with no set agenda, but we do occasionally organise special speakers to talk to us about tax for the self-employed, for example, or digital marketing.

We welcome newcomers and folk interested in finding out more about working as editors or proofreaders. There’s always cake. For more information, contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
