The CIEP's local groups offer a space in which members who live locally to one another or who share a special interest can gather, regardless of the stage at which they find themselves in their professional and membership journey. This means that the members you’ll meet range from those just starting out to those who bring years of experience to the table.
Every CIEP member is welcome and it’s our aim that everyone will be able to play a part, whether that means sharing experience and helping each other to solve professional problems, or simply soaking up the supportive atmosphere that positions local and special interest groups alongside the member forums at the heart of the CIEP community.
Local groups’ activities may vary and they meet at different frequencies … What is common to every CIEP local group is that it is member-centred and member-led.
CIEP local and special interest group events are for Entry-Level, Intermediate, Professional and Advanced Professional members only, with some exceptions.
- Paid-up Retired Members may continue to attend CIEP local group meetings.
- Members of the Society of Indexers (SI) are eligible to attend CIEP local group meetings (and vice versa) under a partnership arrangement between the two membership associations. For more information, please contact the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
Non-members interested in discovering more about the CIEP are invited to join us at a CIEP discovery meeting.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
