Sally is quite simply indispensable. She's a real pro - diligent, thorough and exact. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking to take their work to the highest level. I'll certainly use her again.
J Palma, Novelist
I have no hesitation in recommending Sally. She was very friendly and easy to communicate with and flexible on timing when there were delays with the manuscript at my end. Always professional and efficient, she worked incredibly fast and found errors and inconsistencies I would never have noticed, for which I am very grateful. I recommend Sally without reservation and look forward to working with her again on my next project.
Alice Allen, Poet
I am so glad that I got Sally to work on my project; she has been so easy to work with. She is quick, professional and has a very good eye for picking up even the smallest error. Absolutely delighted to have found her!
Sapphira Olson, Poet
I found Sally easy to work and communicate with. She’s quick, observant and thorough. I’ll definitely use her again!
Rowen Sivertsen, Sci-Fi Writer
Sally is the best proofreader I have ever worked with, and I have worked with a fair few. She is painstaking, persistent, professional, punctual and polite.
Guy Portman, Author
I have no hesitation in recommending Sally's copy editing and proofreading services. From the outset, she was very clear on her availability, the time she would need and her completion date. Her overall work on the biography I've just finished was absolutely excellent. She's extremely thorough and her dedication as well as her professionalism shine through. I look forward to engaging her again.
Nicholas Claxton, Partner at WOW Media Communications Group & Author
Efficient. Reliable. Friendly. I cannot recommend Sally highly enough. Her work is incredibly thorough, with great attention to detail. I will definitely be using her again in the future.
Elizabeth Rickard, Writer & Poet
The editor's job is to make your book the best it can be and Sally Brigham is better than good. Since my first book I felt that I wanted a long-term working relationship with the same editor, Sally, and that's what I've told my publisher.
Johan Fundin, Novelist
I would definitely recommend Sally's copy editing and proofreading services; the work she has completed for Matador has been thorough, professional and always completed on time.
Lauren Lewis, Editorial Manager, Matador (Troubador)
I have used Sally's proofreading services quite a few times now. She is great at proofing, as well as tweaking text that needs it! On top of that she has a very quick turnaround time and always delivers promptly. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and fast proofreader.
Ulrik Street-Poulsen, Translator
Sally started to work for us in 2014 and has proved to be a valuable asset to the company. She is reliable, always able to turn work round really quickly and manages to navigate her way through the wide variety of topics our books cover. Thank you, Sally.
Polly Prior, Commissioning Editor, Flame Tree Publishing
We are delighted to have discovered Sally. She has proved to be a first-class all-rounder, equally adept at transcribing, copy editing and proofreading. She turns around assignments with remarkable speed and yet is meticulous with the detail. I have hunted for errors, but so far it's been in vain. She has done an outstanding job on a number of our privately published ghostwritten memoirs. My only reservation in recommending her is that she might have less time to work for Inkerman.
Niall Edworthy, Founder, Inkerman Publishing
I'd never realised before how thorough a proofreader has to be. Sally is amazing, works very quickly and delivers excellent clean and tracked copies at the end of it. I will certainly be asking her to proofread my next work.
Bunty James, Author
As a writer for many years and the recent author of two novels, I was genuinely surprised by the number of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes which had escaped my editor's attention. There was also some unexpected 'cross pollination' between US and UK English which to some might be invisible, but to the purist reader is either vividly obvious or in some cases extremely annoying. Sally ironed out my shortfalls and certain editorial omissions with great skill and tenacity, but in a circumspect and very professional way. The brief was for UK English, and that is what we got. I sent off my present mystery novel to the publishers yesterday with a very good feeling, confident in the knowledge that we have all done our best.
