I'm a very experienced proofreader and I provide reliable and thorough proofreading services to publishers. I've built my reputation on delivering high-quality work on time. Whatever your project, I will follow your brief and deal with any material sensitively, correcting spelling and grammatical errors and inconsistencies, as well as dealing with any layout problems, to ensure the intended message is clear while respecting the author's voice.
While I mainly work as a proofreader, I also offer copyediting and language services where and when required.
Please note that I am currently unable to work with self-publishing authors owing to a number of ongoing commitments.

Other relevant information
In November 2013 I set up the Three Counties group, one of the CIEP's local groups, encompassing the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and was its coordinator until November 2017. From November 2017 until July 2020 I was a tutor for the introductory and Headway courses for proofreading and copy-editing offered by the CIEP.
